About Largo Residents Directory

Largo no longer has one printed volume naming everyone in town. Directory evidence is divided among the Pinellas property roll, recorded deeds, election records, court indexes, and historical collections at Largo Public Library. This private reference brings those starting points together so a name, street, or old address can reach the right custodian.

Why This Site Exists

Printed Largo directories faded, but their underlying records stayed with separate custodians. The Pinellas County Property Appraiser connects owners and parcels. The Clerk indexes deeds, while election files operate under Florida law. Largo Library and the State Library preserve historical material. We assembled verified tools, office details, coverage limits, and access rules so research begins in the right place.

What You Will Find Here

  • Pages by angle: the street directory, city directories, and resident lookup
  • The rolls and offices: assessor, recorder, elections office, court clerk, vital records, the library's local history collection
  • Walkthroughs: how to trace who lives on a street, how to read a directory entry, how to follow a household across the decades
  • Access rules: what Florida law opens, what stays closed, and how a records request works when something is not online

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately operated reference with no connection to any Largo office, Pinellas County department, Florida agency, court, or library. Its limits are firm:

  • We cannot confirm whether a specific person currently lives in Largo
  • We cannot pull, certify, or change any record on your behalf
  • We cannot add anyone to, or remove anyone from, any roll or database
  • We cannot give legal advice about a record or a dispute
  • We cannot promise that every coverage year, link, or office detail here is current at this moment

Only the custodian office can confirm, certify, or correct a record. Nothing found through this site may be used for credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions.
